Community Midwives

Provides care for mothers during pregnancy and delivery. Please contact her on 01579 389647 as soon as you suspect you are pregnant. Alternatively, you can make an appointment with your GP who will refer you to the midwife who will get in touch with you to arrange an appointment

Community Nurses

Provide care at home for those who are housebound, or recently discharged from hospital. They may be contacted at the Liskeard Community Hospital on 01579 335276 or a message may be left with the Surgery.
Community Psychiatric Nurses are able to care for patients with psychiatric problems in the community.
Macmillan Nurses are specially trained to help patients with cancer at home.
Diabetic Liaison Nurse offers specialist diabetic advice and can be contacted at Callington Community Clinic on 01579 384425.

Health Visitors

Involved in the health care of children and those at risk. If you wish to contact the Health Visitor, she can be contacted on 01579 335205 or a message may be left with the Surgery.


Psychology and Counselling Services offers confidential counselling for stress, anxiety and depression, or other areas which your doctor feels appropriate.

Alcohol and Drugs Counsellor offers confidential counselling regarding substance misuse.

Adult Social Care can help with social problems. They include the Home Care Organiser and Social Workers.
